I art directed and lead the art on this project with one permanent attached UI artist as a direct report. The main theme was tropical but I also explored arctic and wild west themes earlier in the project. I personally produced environments, UI and the host character (he's in his own project called Blockie King), The pace of the project was very fast. We went from starting to a build on the app store in 3 months! That velocity really required experience to be able to shortcut lots of pre production and asset creation.
